There are many things to do in Cancun<\/strong> besides drinking at the beach (although let\u2019s face it, when you\u2019re on vacation, that\u2019s always a fun option). But maybe you\u2019ve had enough margaritas at Playa Delfines, and now you\u2019re thinking: what now?<\/p>\n

Here are 11 different and exciting suggestions for what to do in Cancun<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Kite Surfing:<\/h2>\n

A kite<\/strong>, which looks like a parachute, attached to a surfboard with you on top. If you aren\u2019t experienced, there are private lessons available. Although the wind conditions have to be right, the speed and jumps you can make can be impressive.<\/p>\n

Snorkeling:<\/h2>\n

If you don\u2019t have your scuba license, you can try snorkeling<\/strong>, which is inexpensive, safe, and very easy to do for all ages.<\/p>\n

Swim with dolphins:<\/a><\/h2>\n

If you want to have a lifetime experience<\/strong>, you should interact and swim with dolphins<\/a>. Get the most of these majestic marine mammals and live a magical encounter. You can kiss, hug, greet and wave the dolphins. Also, you can hear them sing!<\/p>\n

Bungee Jumping:<\/h2>\n

Feeling gutsy and courageous? Want to cross something off your bucket list<\/strong>? Climb up the platform, allow the professionals<\/strong> to attach you to the harness, and jump head first towards the sparkling sea.<\/p>\n

Jetboat Tours:<\/a><\/h2>\n

What can only be described as the \u201croller coaster of the sea\u201d<\/strong>, a jetboat tour<\/strong> involves speeding across the Caribbean Ocean in a specialized speedboat that performs 180\/360 degree spins, tsunami submersions that involve plunging the front of the boat down into the water, and of course, high-speed wave-hopping.<\/p>\n

Scuba:<\/h2>\n

If you have your Scuba license there are plenty of places to go scuba diving<\/strong> in Cancun<\/strong>. Be prepared to see a wide variety of sea life, ranging from sea turtles, stingrays, squids,<\/strong> and of course, tropical fish<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Cenotes:<\/a><\/h2>\n

Enjoy a quick dip in the fresh water cenotes<\/strong> situated all around Cancun<\/strong>. They\u2019re beautiful to look at and feel great to swim in, especially on a hot day.<\/p>\n

Snuba:<\/h2>\n

Some places offer a midway option in between scuba and snorkeling: Snuba. You don\u2019t need a scuba license to go \u201cSnuba diving\u201d. Snuba<\/strong> involves having a tank of air on top of a floatable device above the water that moves where you move and connects to your mask via a hose. A guide travels with you to ensure your safety and entertainment. You can safely plunge up to 4-5 yards below the surface!<\/p>\n

Helicopter Tours:<\/h2>\n

Cancun\u2019s Hotel Zone<\/strong> is the perfect place to take a helicopter tour<\/strong>. They have great prices and the view you get is unforgettable. You can even view sea-turtles swimming in the ocean from all the way up there! There\u2019s only one way to truly appreciate the vastness of hotel and beach options Cancun<\/strong> has to offer, and that is from the aerial vantage point of a helicopter.<\/p>\n

Stalactite Caves:<\/h2>\n

Take a guided tour inside of a cave that looks like it has \u201cstone-icicles\u201d dropping down from the ceiling of the cave. These \u201cstone-icicles\u201d called, stalactites<\/strong>, take millions of years to form, and are hypnotically mesmerizing<\/strong> to see in person.<\/p>\n
